Ahoy, Michelle! If it's time for your pre-arrival check-in, it means it won't be long before you venture beyond the reef. The line where the sky meets the sea calls me, too. I'm so glad it won't be long before we hear that magical "Welcome Aboard!"
I received an email earlier today letting me know my pre-arrival check-in has been accepted.
Woo Hoo! It's one last milestone marking the arrival of a
Disney Cruise Line vacation, and I cheer with each step. When I read your question, I looked at the pictures I submitted for my family. Each image shows our shoulders up, facing forward against a plain background. My youngest son removed his glasses to make sure his face was fully visible. My hair is pulled back in a ponytail, but a strand escaped that blocked a portion of my ear. Sound familiar? I can't guarantee your daughter's photo will be accepted, but mine was.
Once you complete the
pre-arrival check-in, your reservation will be shown as pending, and it may remain that way until just days before your cruise. If there are any issues with your photos, you may receive directions to load new pictures or retake them at the port. It may cause your check-in process at the port to take a bit longer, but it is not something to worry about. Showing up without your
required travel documentation is an issue they can't solve, but they can help capture a photo of your daughter that will work.
Michelle, I hope this puts your mind at ease. I also hope you get an email indicating you are cleared to arrive at the port and board the most magical ship at sea! As you put the finishing touches on your to-do list, be sure to pack your travel documents and download the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app. And hopefully, it is all clear skies and full steam ahead.
