Hello, do you guys release more reservation slots for themed park?

    Hello Gina,

Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question. As exciting as it is to plan a Walt Disney World vacation, there are a lot of steps to getting started. Besides finding a time that works for your schedule, you have to find an available resort, and then check the calendar to make sure the theme parks you want to visit are available.

As you've probably discovered, sometimes you'll find that specific parks have no available reservations. While new reservation slots don't get added, guests do end up cancelling their reservations as their plans evolve, so it's worth it to keep checking. However, you want to make reservations somewhere as soon as you purchase park tickets to make sure you can at least visit a park. You can't really modify your existing reservations, but you can cancel and rebook if something becomes available.

If you are visiting during a particularly busy time, you may want to consider adding the Park Hopper Option to your tickets. With that upgrade, as long as you've checked into the park where you have a reservation, you'll be able to go to a second park beginning at 2:00 PM (or whenever park hopping starts for the day) without a reservation.

Hope this helps. Enjoy planning your next visit to join in The World's Most Magical Celebration!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
