Hello Gina,
Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question. As exciting as it is to plan a Walt Disney World vacation, there are a lot of steps to getting started. Besides finding a time that works for your schedule, you have to find an available resort, and then
check the calendar to make sure the theme parks you want to visit are available.
As you've probably discovered, sometimes you'll find that specific parks have no available reservations. While new reservation slots don't get added, guests do end up cancelling their reservations as their plans evolve, so it's worth it to keep checking. However, you want to
make reservations somewhere as soon as you purchase park tickets to make sure you can at least visit a park. You can't really modify your existing reservations, but you can cancel and rebook if something becomes available.
If you are visiting during a particularly busy time, you may want to consider adding the
Park Hopper Option to your tickets. With that upgrade, as long as you've checked into the park where you have a reservation, you'll be able to go to a second park beginning at 2:00 PM (or whenever park hopping starts for the day) without a reservation.
Hope this helps. Enjoy planning your next visit to join in
The World's Most Magical Celebration!
