Hi! you guys have been instrumental in planning my vacation....my 5 yr old has her first wobbly tooth so we may lose one while at WDW. Is there anything special that can celebrate loosing a tooth. I think she thinks Tink might visit while we are there!

    Hi Kerri,

I had to giggle at your question.  We just got back from Disney World & my 6 year old has a wiggly tooth. I SOOOOOOO wanted him to lose his first tooth at Disney and guess what? He's still got it!!  It didn't happen. I should have packed some pliers - LOL - JUST KIDDING!!

Before we left, I bought him a book about losing a first tooth. I had planned for the Tooth Fairy to leave it under his pillow with a note about letting his Mom keep his first tooth because it would be special to me.  I even did a special fancy envelope for her to put the tooth in for me to keep.  Instead of the traditional money, I had purchased a Disney Gift Card so that he could use it to purchase a souvenEAR on our trip.

On our way to the parks the next morning, I was going to get him an "I'm Celebrating" button from our resort concierge or at Guest Relations in the parks.  A lot of Cast Members will ask Guests what they are celebrating and I knew he'd get special attention that way.   I'm sure the characters in the parks would have asked him as well (or we could have told them) and we could have gotten some really cute pictures of him with the character pointing to his missing tooth.

Celebration cakes are available at most table service restaurants.  If she loses her tooth, you could request a cake when you arrive at the podium.  Specialty cakes are available but they require 48 hours advanced notice and its hard to know exactly when loosing a tooth will happen.

Be sure to take lots of pictures if she does. I can't think of a more exciting place to lose a first tooth than the Most Magical Place on Earth.  I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison
