Hello Mary!
Welcome back to planDisney! It's so nice to see you here again!
Disability Access Service (DAS) is provided to guests who have difficulty waiting in a regular queue due to a disability. If you determine that your mom fits this situation then I would make sure to head over with her to Guest Relations as soon as you enter your first Park. It is there that you can speak with a Cast Member and get started up in the DAS service and have it all linked to your
My Disney Experience app. You can find the main Guest Relations location when you arrive by looking in your My Disney Experience app map feature. A friendly Cast Member will ask you a few questions and that's it!
There is a pre-registration process but it seems that it is not available to guests from the UK. However, I would not worry as there will be someone on-site in the Parks who will be glad to assist you and your family! If you have questions beforehand you can reach out to even more
Disney experts here.
I'm so excited that you are making this journey with your mother and creating these memories that your family will cherish forever. May I suggest as a special treat considering adding an
Enchanting Extra to your trip to make it even more special? One of the things I know that my mother-in-law enjoys when we visit Walt Disney World is all the sweet treats. She has yet to find an ice cream that she does not like. There are some delightful
dessert parties available for purchase where there is a feast of desserts right before, after, or even during a nighttime spectacular. I would check it out as it usually includes special fireworks viewing areas that will be far less crowded. It will make a sweet ending to your day!
I sure hope this helps and I hope you have a magical time.
