Hi guys. Me and my husband are taking our 6 years old girl to Disney for the first time. We have 6 days. How much time in each park would u recommend?

    Hi Valeria,

You must be excited to be taking your daughter to Walt Disney World for the very first time!  She is going to be enthralled with the magic, for sure.

If I had six days for a first trip, I would spend two days in Epcot (one in Future World and one in World Showcase), one day in Disney's Hollywood Studios, one day in Disney's Animal Kingdom, and one day in the Magic Kingdom.  Then I would save the last day to go back and explore further whichever park your daughter enjoyed the most.

Be sure to visit the Disney website to pick out a few restaurants in advance of your visit.  Call (407) WDW-DINE as far as 180 days in advance of your visit to book dining reservations.  Be sure to include at least one character dining experience.  These are great opportunities to interact with the characters one-on-one without having to wait in line.  Some of my best vacation photographs were taken at character meals.

If you have any further questions as you plan for your trip, don't hesitate to post them to the Moms Panel.  We'd be happy to make suggestions for you.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
