you guys are all great! my question is do the water parks provide towels or even rent them and are there lockers there and how much are they! in you opion which park is better a 50 year old and a 30 year old.

    Hi Denise,

Thanks so much for your kind words about the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  We love helping you to plan your magical vacations.

For my family, a trip to Walt Disney World simply is not complete without a trip to Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park or Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park. We love splashing the day away!  We just returned from a trip where we went to Typhoon Lagoon.  We did rent both towels and a locker.  Towel rental is $2 per towel.  We rented a large locker, which was $10 plus a $5 deposit returned to you when you return the key.  So you must pay $15 but then get $5 back.  This large locker was big enough for our backpack and a couple of other items.  You can also rent a small locker for a little bit less; however, those just do not hold enough stuff for us!

Choosing which water park I would recommend for you to visit is difficult.  I think that what matters most is which theme appeals more to you.  They both have a mix of relaxing and thrilling attractions, and both have many beach chairs where you can lounge the day away if you like.  If you prefer a tropical paradise, head to Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  If you prefer the whimsy of a melting winter wonderland, Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park may be right for you.  If I were going with just adults, I would probably head to Disney's Typhoon Lagoon, but again, that is based on my preference for the theme.

I hope that this is helpful for you, Denise!  Have a great time planning your vacation, and please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions.
