You guys are great! Our FIRST trip to WDW commences Oct. 7 (H & twin 7yo girls). We're staying at POFQ but park tickets aren't active until 10/8. Can you offer a really special dining suggestion for the evening of our arrival - 10/7? Thanks!

There are some great spots to eat at the Walt Disney World Resort. Between the amazing restaurants at the resorts and the great nightlife that can be found at Downtown Disney you will have plenty of great choices for meals. Downtown Disney offers some great options including T-Rex, a great spot for the kids with life size dinosaurs and even a woolly mammoth! The food includes the famous Brachiosaurus Bruschetta, Layers of the Earth Lasagna, prehistoric pizzas, the Gigantosaurus Burger, sandwiches, steaks and seafood.  Another great choice is Raglan Road. This Irish pub is a great spot for eating some of the best Irish fare you will ever have. You can dance the calories off as you listen to the traditional Irish music that will have you smiling and humming from this great experience. At the resorts your food options are equally awesome. I would totally make a reservation for a meal at California Grill atop Disney's Contemporary Resort. Not only is the food fabulous but the view is stunning. A nice walk on the balcony on the top will provide some breathtaking views of the Magic Kingdom. I watched the Wishes nighttime show from there and will always treasure that memory. As you can tell, the meal options at the Happiest Place on Earth are almost limitless. I would just call (407) WDW-DINE and make a reservation for a great meal. Have a magical trip and I will see you at the parks.
