Hi Mom's, you guys are great!!! We are coming after Thanksgiving, and my father has Rheumatoid Arthritis and can't stand for lond periods of time, can he get the Guest Assistance Card? and how do we go about getting one? Thanks Love u guys!!

    Hello Fellow Nebraskan!

Your father is welcome to get a Guest Assistance Card.  You can obtain the card at any of the park's Guest Relations; your father will need to be present.  However, he does not need to provide any proof of disability.  The card will be created to meet the individual needs of your father.

Once you have the card, it is valid for all the parks (not the water parks, however) and should be good for your entire trip.

When you arrive at an attraction, simply show the card to the first cast member you encounter who will be able to assist you.

I'm so glad we've been able to help you.  You will be visiting at a wonderful time when WDW is dressed in its absolute finest.  The holidays at WDW are simply amazing.  If you have a chance, I'd highly encourage a visit to the Grand Floridian resort.  How often can you see a life size gingerbread house?

Wishing you a magical trip!  Kara (from NE!)
