Hi Moms! You guys are great! We are coming in Jan for our 2nd WDW trip with 3 kids (12,9,5) 2 adults. Really torn on where to stay. AOA looks amazing but really like the monerail convenience of Contemp or Polynesian. Would love to know your thoughts.

Hi Vickie! Choosing your Disney resort is fun but also difficult as they all offer something wonderful for a magical experience during your stay.

The new Art of Animation resort offers families such as yours with three or more children the opportunity to stay in one unit and have room to breathe. The Family Suites are amazing and for me offer one important thing....the second bathroom!  It can be tricky getting ready in the morning or night and having only one bathroom for all. By using the Disney bus transportation you can easily reach all four parks within a short amount of time and never have to use a car during your stay. The trips range from 15-30 minutes and this resort does have its own bus line and will not be sharing with any other resort.

The resorts located on the monorail near the Magic Kingdom are wonderful and just a short ride to the park but they will cost you a great deal more.  My choice for your family would be the Polynesian as it is a little more laid back and appealing to the younger kids.  Economically check out the comparisons and see if being close to a park is that important. You might be able to stay longer by booking a Value resort which would make it even more enticing then a short stay at a Deluxe.

My vote...Art of Animation for this trip!
