Hi guy's! Which is your favorite resort for a 4 and 2 year old. the Poly or the Contemporary for our first vacation in WDW? Which do you think they will enjoy the most? Thanks again!!

    Hello, Christian!

Your first vacation in Walt Disney World! How exciting!

We've stayed at both Disney's Contemporary Resort as well as Disney's Polynesian Resort, and love them both for entirely different reasons. However, for a first stay, with little ones at age 2 and 4, I recommend the Polynesian.

From the moment you step into the Polynesian Resort, Guests of all ages will be swept away by the ambiance of the entire property, with the warmth of the people of Polynesia woven throughout each area. Our very first trip to WDW, as a matter of fact, included a stay at this very resort when my kids were 3 1/2 and 5 months old. I wouldn't change a thing. From the pool to the beach, the dining options (with Lilo and Stitch or without) and entertainment right on property, this is truly a magically unique resort. You'll be so glad you chose to stay here.

What's more, all of the benefits of Disney's Contemporary Resort, such as dining with Mickey and friends at Chef Mickey's, are just a quick monorail ride away. Thus, you get the best of both resorts, with little trouble navigating from one to the other.

Send more questions as you plan this very exciting first family adventure to Walt Disney World! I'd love to help you make the most-informed decisions so that your stay is simply out of this world!
