Hello Adela! Welcome to planDisney! The Walt Disney World Resort wants to make sure that every Guest has a magical visit! This includes Guests on the spectrum of Autism. While there are no specific discounts for Guests with Autism, there are several special offers that might be applicable to your vacation. Additionally, Disney World has a program called
Disability Access Services (DAS) designed to provide accommodations for Guests who are unable to wait in a traditional line.
Let’s begin with saving some money! Go to the
Special Offers page on the Disney World website! Here you will find a complete list of money-saving offers available for Guests. Also, if vacationing on a budget, consider staying in one of the value resorts at Disney World. These include the All-Star Sports, All-Star Movies, and All-Star Music resorts. Additionally, Pop Century Resort and Art of Animation Resort are also considered value resorts! Also, there are great benefits to being "neighbors" with Mickey and Minnie! You might be eligible for one of the
discounts available to residents of Florida!
If you are traveling with a child with Autism, you might want to consider applying for Disability Access Services (DAS). DAS allows Guests to skip the traditional wait in line by selecting times to report to an attraction with minimal wait.
Guests wishing to qualify for DAS must register via a live video chat available on the Disney World website. If the Guest qualifies for DAS, three additional party members can be added to the DAS benefit to have minimal waits and enjoy rides and entertainment together!
Adela, you can use the links provided in this answer to check the special money-saving offers and to register for DAS! Come on back to planDisney as you continue dreaming of your visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!
Dreams do come true!
