Hi guys, still checking panel every day for Sept holiday. Just a quick ? Has anyone been out on a Searaycer? I'm travelling alone with 2 DDs 10& 6. Will 3 of us fit?

    Hi Lorna,

I love renting the Sea Raycers and I have done so countless amount of times right from when I was a child and even as an adult...they are so much fun!  Unfortunately I have some "not so good" news for you with your current situation.  Guests must be at least 12 years old and at least 5 feet tall to drive a Sea Raycer. At Magic Kingdom area resorts, at least one person in the boat must have a valid driver's license. There is a maximum combined weight of 320 lbs permitted for a Sea Raycer, or 2 passengers. All drivers under the age of 18 MUST have a parent or legal guardian sign a release.  I remember as a child, my brother and I were able to ride the Sea Raycers on our own at approximately 12 years old but this seems not to be the case anymore.  A very keen eye and driving knowledge is required as there are other boats on the waterways (no wake areas, etc...) and there are certain rules that need to be followed which is why a drivers licence is required by at least one person.  Unless you would have someone to look after one of your daughters so you can take turns with your children, then the Sea Raycers are not something you will be able to experience this time.  There are many other options for Water Craft rentals besides the Sea Raycers that you may be interested in where you can all fit in together.  They are available to you at various Walt Disney World Resort hotels and Downtown Disney Marketplace.  For more information or to make a reservation for one of these experiences just call a cast member at (407) 939-0754.  I hope this helps and that you may have a magical time!

    Best wishes,
