    Hi guys, celebrating my very own princess 5th birthday down there. Question, grandma who's a Fl resident wants to buy her ticket as bday present but not too sure if that would be an issue considering we don't live there & grandma will not be a

    Hey Dahiana-

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I can envision it now: the envelope is right in front of your daughter with her heart set on a lovely card with a check from grandma or even a gift card to her favorite place. She looks inside...astonishment takes hold, the corners of her lips curl upward. She knows she's going to meet her favorite princesses and Mickey and Minnie Mouse. You and grandma, who lives so far away, have made her dreams come true.

    You mother knows her granddaughter and is a fantastic gift giver. This will be an unforgettable birthday. Grandma will need to buy your princess a non-resident theme park ticket. Only Florida residents may receive special in-state pricing on tickets for themselves and proof of residency is required. She may purchase the ticket online or by calling 407-WDISNEY (407-934-7639).

    When you enter a theme park, please stop by Guest Relations to pick up a special "Happy Birthday" button for your daughter. Cast Members and other Guests will wish her "Happy Birthday" during her visit when she wears it.

    Disney Dad Tip: I recommend purchasing a Memory Maker to capture all your moments during this magical birthday celebration. You will be able to download and print every photo made by Disney PhotoPass photographers. Please make sure to get one of the group in front of Cinderella Castle. Grandma will see your beautiful smiles and know her gift was magical.
