Heigh-ho Lisa! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I'm so glad to hEAR you have another magical vacation planned. Thanks for stopping by with some great questions.
First, let's talk about
Story Book Dining at Artist Point with Snow White. A meal here featuring Disney's original princess, Dopey, Grumpy, and the Evil Queen is something worth wishing for. Walt Disney World has recently been focusing on
plant-based menu options, and I think you will find a variety of delicious vegan choices throughout the theme parks and resorts. Let the green leaf icon be your guide to plant-based choices! Check out this
Disney Parks Blog post in which my fellow panelists and I discuss some of our favorite out of this world meat-free offerings in
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge.
When dining at table-service establishments, you'll want to make
a special note on your Advanced Dining Reservation letting the restaurant staff know that you require a vegan meal. Dinner with Snow White and friends is a prix-fixe affair, and the regular menu may not provide sufficient options for all courses. A friendly member of the kitchen crew may even pay a visit to your table to discuss additional choices and ingredients. In my experience, Cast Members are wonderful at accommodating dietary requests, so simply relax, and
be our guest!
Like Moana, the water calls to me, and so the pools and lagoon-side locale of
Disney's Beach Club Resort make this my very favorite place to stay in Walt Disney World. I'll wish upon a star that warm weather comes your way in December so you can enjoy some time at
Stormalong Bay! Lisa, if you will be staying at Disney's Beach Club Resort, you will find a Keurig single-serve coffeemaker in your room. If you booked a Deluxe Villa at the adjacent
Disney's Beach Club Villas, your kitchen or kitchenette will include a pot-style 10-cup coffeemaker. I love the convenience of preparing my morning coffee in my resort room, and the serenity of enjoying it on my balcony.
I hope this helps as you continue to plan for your winter getaway to the Most Magical Place on Earth. Be sure to investigate the wide variety of
holiday happenings you may encounter on your visit, and if there is anything else we can do to make your visit even merrier, stop by and see us again.
See ya real soon!
