How much are guided tours and how can I arrange them?

    Jambo Carol!

Welcome to planDisney, and thank you for sending us your magical question! I am so excited that you have decided to add some extra magic to your vacation, and there is no better way to do that than by booking activities part of the Enchanted Extras Collection. Plus, you will be visiting during the World's Most Magical Celebration, so there is no better time to learn more about the Walt Disney World Resort!

If you are talking about guided tours such as Disney's Keys to the Kingdom Tour, these are part of the Enchanted Extras Collection. Enchanted Extras are activities, tours and various experiences you can book in addition to your theme park tickets and reservations to have some extra fun during your day. You can find the whole list and most of their availability and prices online. However, some experiences might require that you call in to make your reservation or get more information on the experience, so the phone number can be found by clicking on these experiences online as well. It is also important to note that Enchanted Extras can be booked 60 days in advance, so make sure to mark your calendar!

If, instead, you are looking to book a VIP tour guide for your group, you will have to call in to make these reservations. VIP tour guides allow you to go on your favourite rides, customize your itinerary with their expertise, and learn more about the Disney Parks. Like Enchanted Extras, these tours still require valid theme park tickets and theme park reservations and are available for parties of up to 10 guests.

One of my favourite experiences I always recommend is the Wild Africa Trek located at Disney's Animal Kingdom. Unfortunately, this experience was unavailable during the pandemic, and I am so happy that it has finally returned! If you ever went on the Kilimanjaro Safaris and wished you could have stayed with the animals longer, this experience is perfect for you. Not only do you get to walk and trek through the Harambe Wildlife Reserve and spend more time with the animals, but you also get your very own tour guides and the chance to talk to some of the animal keepers that work there! My favourite part of the tour was always the delicious snack prepared by chefs from some of Disney's best restaurants. The food items offered on the trek are unique to this experience and cannot be ordered at any of the restaurants on property, which makes your tour even more special, and who could say no to a glass of POG juice? To top it all off, a portion of your registration fee is donated to the Disney Conservation Fund on your behalf, so you can also feel good about helping the environment while on your trek!

I hope this was helpful, Carol, and that you and your Ohana will have the best day ever on your next Disney vacation. If you have any other questions in the time leading up to your visit, please don't hesitate to reach back out. You've got a friend in us here at planDisney!

    Have a magical day,
