Hi Glenda,
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It just so happens that you have asked about two of my family's favorite restaurants!
We love to use the
Disney Dining Plans Participating Locations Guide to help us locate restaurants. Then we use the
Park Map to get a sense of proximity between certain restaurants and the theme parks. While in the parks, we depend on the
My Disney Experience Mobile App to give us step-by-step directions between locations.
When you open the app, you can use the search feature to type in the name of the restaurant. Once the restaurant comes up, you will see several links, one of which is "Get Directions." Using this link, you will get directions along with estimated transit times and multiple transportation options if there are multiple options.
Chef Mickey's is at Disney's Contemporary Resort and 1900 Park Fare is at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. Both resorts are close to Disney's Magic Kingdom Park. In fact, we always take the
Resort Monorail to get to Chef Mickey's and 1900 Park Fare.
My girls love Cinderella's Happily Ever After Dinner at 1900 Park Fare. The evil stepmother danced with one of our girls when she was 5-years old. Her scathing expressions were priceless. Our other daughter lost the power of speech when Prince Charming once spoke to her. She later claimed that she did not want Cinderella to be jealous.
Glenda, I trust you find the perfect dining experiences!
Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
Donyell
