Hi Amy, welcome to planDisney! I'm thrilled to answer your first question, and it's a great one! I totally get how tough it can be to spot amazing pools around Disney World, like the super fun
Fuentes del Morro Pool at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort and wondering if you can check it out or bring friends along can be a bummer! Don't worry; I'm here to clear things up for you today.
According to Disney, day visitors are welcome to enjoy select dining, shopping, entertainment, and recreation experiences that are open to the general public. However, access to the pools is limited to those registered as a Guest at any particular Disney Resorts Collection hotel. This policy is in place to ensure the safety of all Guests at all times, which is particularly important when traveling with young children.
The good news here is that you and your friends are more than welcome to enjoy a variety of activities at the Resorts! From dining at
Sebastian's Bistro to
roasting marshmallows next to a crackling fire, cozying up for a favorite
Disney movie under the stars, or even soaring through the skies on a ride using the
Disney Skyliner gondolas, there's something for everyone to enjoy.
If you're looking for some exclusive pool action, my best tip is to plan a
fun-filled day at one of the Disney World Water Parks. Currently, Disney's Typhoon Lagoon is open, and later this year, Disney's Blizzard Beach will also open its doors so you can enjoy some sunny days with your favorite people.
I hope this helps, Amy. Please
let us know if you have any other questions at any time. It's always a pleasure to help out our wonderful friends like you.
Cheers
Nilson
