Do guests of Vacation Club members have to pay for parking at the resort they are staying? They will be staying at Key West Resort.

    Hiya, James!

Welcome to planDisney.  I think your pals are going to love staying at Disney's Old Key West Resort –– the spacious rooms and a laid-back vibe make the Resort a perfect retreat during the hustle and bustle of a Walt Disney World Resort vacation!  If your friends are in the market for a fantastic (and in my opinion, underrated) breakfast spot during their stay, they won't want to miss Olivia's Cafe.  The Banana Bread French Toast is the perfect way to fuel up ahead of a fast-paced day in the theme parks!

I'm happy to share how parking works at Disney Vacation Club Resorts so you can pass the info along to your friends.  Disney Vacation Club Members enjoy complimentary standard overnight self-parking when staying at a DVC Resort, regardless of whether that reservation was booked with Vacation Points or cash.  If your friends are registered Guests on these types of reservations, whether they will be staying with a DVC Member or using a Member's Points for booking, they will also receive complimentary self-parking.  However, if your friends have booked their own reservation at Old Key West using cash, they would be considered non-DVC Guests and would have a daily parking charge added to their hotel folio at check-out.  I hope that helps to clear things up!

Thanks for stopping by planDisney, James.  If you or your friends have any other planning questions, I hope you'll us again –– we're always here to help!

    Have a Magical Day,
    Amy
