Hi Jonathan,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you for your question! Your vacation will be here soon, can you feel the magic?
Guests who need assistance tolerating wait times in the traditional queues are able to speak with a Cast Member about
Disability Access Service (DAS). This service can be booked by doing a video call with a Cast Member and the guest needing the service 30 – 2 days before the first visit in the Theme Parks. If your guest receives the service, it’s active for 60 days, then you’ll need to go through the set up process again.
Before you start the process, you’ll want to make sure your entire Party has tickets and they are linked to
My Disney Experience and you have your
Disney Park Pass reservations ready to go. This way the Cast Member can take a look at your account and help with the process.
After speaking with a Cast Member and verifying the guest’s needs, you’ll be able to book up to 2 one-hour return windows in advance and can book attractions additionally on the day of your visits. You’ll simply wait outside of the queue and enter through the Lightning Lane at your scheduled time. If you have any specific questions about this service, check out the FAQs
here or connect with a Cast Member at the
Disability Services desk.
Final tip: Remember, your guest can also rent ECVs and wheelchairs in the Theme Parks if helpful!
I hope this “Bit By Bryanna” is useful as you continue your planning process. If you have any other planning or vacation questions before your travel,
please feel free to reach out, I’m always happy to help!
The Magic Is Calling,
Bryanna
