Since guests with tickets staying offsite can now purchase magicbands if they want. Regarding extra magic hours, how can cast members tell the difference if you're a resort guest or not and eligible for park extra magic hours? Do the bands look different?

    Hi Stacy,

Great question! There is no difference between the MagicBands you receive as a resort guest and the ones available for purchase. For morning Extra Magic Hours, those with Magic Bands will still have to use the touch points to enter the park. If you are not a resort guest, you will not be allowed entry during Extra Magic Hours.

Evening Extra Magic Hours are a bit different. At attractions you will have to touch your MagicBand to verify you are a resort guest before entering the attraction. Guests who are not staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel will be directed towards the park exit.

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
    Wishing you a magical vacation,
    Amy H.
