Howdy, Jon!
Welcome to planDisney and thanks for galloping over with your
Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning question. It looks like you'll be visiting The Most Magical Place on Earth in just a couple of short weeks - the countdown is almost over! Now, let's get you prepared for a rootin' tootin' good time at the Walt Disney World Resort.
I'm excited to hear you're hoping to make a splash with your favorite cowpokes during your stay at
Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground! Jon, Resort hotel amenities are typically reserved for Guests staying at each property. However, I checked in with a friendly Cast Member at the campground and confirmed that friends and family members of Guests staying at some Disney Resort hotels may be able to
utilize the pools when accompanied by the Guests on the reservation. As long as you're present when your friends or family members plan to swim, you should be able to enjoy the pools together during your stay! At some other Resort hotels, only Guests on the reservation are permitted to use pools, and other amenities and pool access is controlled by
MagicBand touchpoints or wristbands.
Jon, it's important to note that parking at Disney Resort hotels is reserved for Guests staying at the property, or those with dining or
Enchanted Extras Collection reservations. Therefore, you'll need to make arrangements to have your visitors access the campground as they likely won't be permitted to park inside the property. Also, be sure to bring your own towels to the pools, as complimentary towel use is no longer offered at this Resort hotel.
I hope you've found these details helpful, Jon. I'm wishing you and your pals a fun-filled time at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground! If you have any additional vacation planning questions, feel free to trot on back to see me at
planDisney anytime. You've got a friend in me!
Happy trails,
Lauren
