Hi, are guests staying at the Swan Reserve also eligible for the 60 days advanced reservations similar to those who stay at the Swan, Dolphin and Disney hotels?

Hey There, Hi There, Ho There, Alison!

You're as welcome as can be here at planDisney.  Can you believe that your Walt Disney World Resort visit is just a few weeks away?  Before you know it, you'll be wandering down Main Street, U.S.A., and taking in all the magic of the holiday season at The Most Magical Place on Earth –– it's going to be amazing!  With just over two months until you arrive, that also means my favorite part of the Disney-planning process is right around the corner: making advance dining reservations to enjoy throughout your stay. To help you prepare for the day your booking window opens, let me share a few details about the dining reservation process to help you along the way.

While all Guests visiting Walt Disney World Resort can make dining reservations up to 60 days in advance, Guests staying at Disney Resorts Collection hotels and other select hotels get an extra sprinkle of pixie dust –– they can make dining reservations for their entire length of stay (up to 10 days) beginning 60 days from check-in. And the best part?  Not only does this include the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin hotels, but it also includes the newest addition to the Crescent Lake neighborhood – the Walt Disney World Swan Reserve hotel – as well.  This means that if you're checking into the Swan Reserve on December 26th, you'll be able to begin making your advance dining reservations on October 26th.

As you're getting ready to book reservations, keep in mind that Christmas week is a very busy time to visit Walt Disney World Resort, so I definitely recommend logging on to make your reservations as early as possible once your booking window opens.  While reservations can officially be made beginning at 6 AM EST, there are times when I've been able to make reservations as early as 5:45 AM (or even a few minutes sooner), so I suggest starting your search a little early, if possible. Also, keep in mind that reservation availability changes all the time, so if you can't find an available reservation for a specific spot, be sure to keep checking back regularly before you arrive. Lately, I've even had great luck finding tables 72-24 hours in advance, so don't give up home –– with a little persistence, you might just be surprised what pops up!

Thanks so much for visiting planDisney, Alison.  I hope this helped to answer your questions and I'm wishing you a Walt Disney World Resort visit that's filled with delicious dishes from beginning to end!

    See Ya Real Soon,
    Amy
