Hi Hailee! Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by with your question!
You must be so excited about your upcoming stay in just a few short days. Whenever my family reaches single digits, my daughters count down by how many more nights of sleep are left until we leave! I am a big fan of the
Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels for several reasons. Each one has fantastic dining locations, beautiful grounds, top-level amenities, and the best location (in my opinion). They are nestled right behind Disney’s Boardwalk and have easy access to both
EPCOT and
Disney's Hollywood Studios. With the
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival underway, you have “backdoor” access to all the festival fun through the International Gateway!
A great perk to staying at either the Walt Disney World Swan or Dolphin Hotels is being able to book Individual Lightning Lane reservations starting at 7 AM each day. Being a Guest at these hotels affords you the same benefits as staying in a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel. This played a key role in my family’s most recent trip. We wanted to ride
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance without waiting in the standby queue. We were able to log on to the
My Disney Experience App and purchase our return window starting at 7 AM. When we checked the app again when the park officially opened, there was no availability to book for the rest of the day. This perk saved us a long wait on that day and allowed us to enjoy many other experiences!
There are two additional benefits that will make your visit a touch more magical. You can take advantage of
Early Theme Park Entry to all four theme parks any day of your visit. You’ll be able to get a 30-minute head start on any Guest that does not qualify. You’ll also have access to the
Extended Evening Theme Park Hours which are offered on select dates for select parks. Depending on how long your stay is, EPCOT is offering extended hours on Monday, March 7th and the Magic Kingdom Park is offering them on Wednesday, March 9th. If you have a park reservation for that specific park on that day or have purchased
Park Hopper tickets, you can ride attractions for two hours after park closing with little wait times! These hours are only available to a small number of Guests, your party being one of them!
Hailee, I hope you have an amazing time being part of the
World’s Most Magical Celebration!
See ya real soon!
Greg
