We will have 5 guests staying at AOA. Since my kids don't want to share beds, can we bring an air mattress? What size do you think will fit best: twin or queen?

    Hi Aimee,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us another question.

I have an even better (and more comfortable) option for your kids! I stayed in a Cars Family Suite at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort with 3 of my girlfriends earlier this year. We were able to request an additional rollaway bed (twin sized) when we checked-in for our stay. While it made for a bit of a tight fit when the murphy bed and sofa bed were pulled out, it was still manageable. Any inconvenience was far outweighed by the joy of not having to share a bed with another person… I think your kids will agree!

From what I understand, rollaway beds can only be requested at check-in and can’t be guaranteed prior to your arrival at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort. I also understand, however, that there are usually plenty to go around, unless you’re planning to visit during an extremely busy time of year (like during the Holidays).

Finally, please note that these rollaway beds do come with an additional cost per night and that they can’t be used to increase the room’s maximum occupancy of 6 people.

Should you have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
