The
water park benefit on check-in day is for Guests staying at a hotel in the Disney Resorts Collection. That does not include Shades of Green. The hotel is not currently eligible for the water park benefit in 2026, and it does not appear that Shades of Green Guests will be eligible in 2027.
Guests at Shades of Green can enjoy resort pools and water play areas such as the Mill Pond Pool, Mill Pond Play Area, and Magnolia Pool! All of these are found on Shades of Green Resort property.
Of course, Guests of Shades of Green are welcome to visit either
Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park or
Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park with paid admission. Both water parks are open during the summer months; then the parks operate seasonally, with one open part of the year while the other closes for seasonal refurbishment!

Disney’s Animal Kingdom will be a great addition to your 2027 Disney World Vacation! The new Tropical Americas area of the park will be opening with attractions featuring Encanto and (my favorite) Indiana Jones! I can’t wait to join him on an adventure deep into an ancient temple! Let’s stay close to Dr. Jones! Who knows what’s been inhabiting that temple?! This new adventure with Indiana Jones is scheduled to open in 2027!
