Hi there, we'll be guests of Pixar Place Hotel during Halloween Time. Is there anything special to do in resort hotel during this time related to Halloween?

    Bonjour Jean Baptiste!

So glad to hear that you're planning a trip across the pond to Walt’s original Magic Kingdom! If you’ve visited Disneyland Paris, you’ll be happy to know that navigating the Disneyland Resort in California will feel very familiar. The two theme parks are located just steps from each other, and the resort hotels are all within walking distance, making it super convenient!

Visiting during Halloween Time is so much fun! The hotels usually have lots of activities for guests, but there is even more fun during the Halloween season. I visited the hotels this past weekend and discovered some wonderful offerings for Guests. On select nights, Guests staying at the Disneyland Resort Hotels can enjoy trick-or-treating in the hotel lobbies. Be sure to ask the Front Desk if it’s available during your stay, and don’t forget to sign up!

Both the Disneyland Hotel and Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa offer Halloween-themed character dining:

    * At Storytellers Cafe, you can enjoy Mickey's Autumn Adventures Breakfast or Brunch.
    * In the evening, Clarabelle hosts an Enchanted Halloween Dinner.
    * Over at Goofy’s Kitchen, you’ll find Goofy and his pals dressed in festive Halloween costumes—it’s a must-do for character dining fans!

Don’t forget to check out the 2025 Foodie Guide on the Disney Parks Blog to see all the delicious Halloween-themed treats available throughout the hotels and parks.

The Grand Californian Hotel lobby is also a Halloween destination in itself! The theming is inspired by The Nightmare Before Christmas, featuring detailed photo backdrops and an impressive giant Rice Krispie treat sculpture of Oogie Boogie, Jack, and Sally. It’s a great spot for photos and a bit of spooky fun!

And while you’re there, head down to Downtown Disney to enjoy Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit. This fun pumpkin scavenger hunt is perfect for Guests of all ages. It’s one of my favorite seasonal activities!

I hope this information was helpful, Jean Baptiste! If you have more questions or would like additional tips for your upcoming adventure, feel free to reach out to me or any of my fellow planDisney panelists. We're always here to add a little extra pumpkin-spiced pixie dust to your vacation.

    Have a spooktacular trip!
