Salut Fenia!
Welcome to planDisney, the most magical place on the internet! I am so glad you decided to stop by and ask us your question today, and I was especially excited when I saw a fellow Québécoise in our queue. Florida is truly a second home for us Québécois, and I am thrilled that you will get to visit the sunshine state so soon!
When the Walt Disney World Resort reopened during the pandemic, many things changed as it gradually brought back its offerings. One of the things that has yet to return fully is housekeeping at Disney Resort hotels. Indeed, the
current housekeeping service uses a thorough cleaning before your stay and light cleaning every other day, including replacing towels, emptying trash cans, cleaning surfaces, etc. Unfortunately, housekeeping does not currently make the beds at Disney Resort hotels. While there is no specific fee you can pay for enhanced cleaning, you can request housekeeping to come and clean your room earlier than they usually would. In any case, the Disney parks are constantly changing, especially regarding their
gradual approach to the pandemic. For that reason, I would highly recommend stopping by or calling the front desk of your Resort and asking them directly.
Now, Fenia, let's talk about some of the exciting things you will be able to experience on your upcoming Disney trip! Did you know that you will be visiting during the Walt Disney World Resort's
50th anniversary, which includes so many unique offerings? My number one tip is that you must watch the new nighttime spectaculars
Disney Enchantment and
Harmonious at Magic Kingdom Park and EPCOT respectively. Both shows are very different from anything you have experienced at the Walt Disney World Resort before, so I highly recommend watching Disney Enchantment from the middle of Main Street USA! And speaking of EPCOT, the thrill-seekers in your family will not want to miss its brand new attraction,
Guardians of the Galaxy - Cosmic Rewind. Opening on May 27th, 2022, this attraction already has glowing reviews from the lucky few who have been able to experience it early, and it truly sounds like an awesome time!
I hope this was helpful, Fenia, and that you and your Ohana will have the best day ever on your upcoming Disney vacation. If you have any other questions in the time leading up to your trip, please don't hesitate to reach out. Il me fera toujours plaisir de vous aider!
Have a magical day, and go Habs go!
