Can guests who are not staying at a Disney property still make park reservations?

Thank you for taking the time to stop by planDisney, Julie. And I’m happy to hEAR you’re planning an upcoming trip to the Walt Disney World Resort in March. That’s right around the corner!

Even if you are not staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, you can still make a park reservation at this time for your March trip. In fact, due to the pandemic and its impact on park operations, all Guests must have a valid park admission and park reservation for each day they plan to visit.

Making a park reservation is fairly simple, and you can do that via the Disney Park Pass system. When you have purchased your tickets, ensure they are linked to your Disney account. Once linked and you’re ready to make your park reservation, you’ll be prompted to create your travel party from your Family & Friends list. Click on the lucky individuals who will accompany you on your magical adventure then press “Continue”. Choose the date and theme park you’d like to visit, then carefully review your selections. When everything looks correct, click “Confirm”. Please note that theme park selections and dates are limited and subject to availability. The sooner you make those park reservations for the dates you’d like to visit, the better! Once your park reservation is confirmed, you will be able to view this in My Plans (both online and in My Disney Experience mobile app). You’re all set and ready to enjoy the magic!

Meet the Panelist: Kiki, California

Greetings from Northern California! I have been fascinated by the magic of Disney since I was a little girl; now that I am a mother of two, I love watching my children experience Disney Parks through their own eyes. I am also surrounded by fellow Disney-loving nurse friends whom I enjoy quick adults-only Disneyland Resort escapes with. Whether you are planning your once-in-a-lifetime family trip or a short adults-only getaway to the Happiest Place on Earth, I am here to help!
