First of all, I wish that I was getting ready for my own trip to
Wilderness Lodge. It is, without a doubt, one of my top hotels at Disney World. The huge pool area, the convenient location (I love the boat transportation to
Magic Kingdom), the picture-perfect lobby, and
the hearty food (Whispering Canyon Cafe, Storybook Dining, and Geyser Point are all gems)... You've made a great choice, and you'll soon find out that you won't want to touch your car at all for the entire stay.
Hakuna Matata! There's good news ahead: Disney World Resort hotel guests get complimentary, overnight
self-parking at their hotel. So, you can come and go as you please without paying a dime. The even cooler part? As a guest of the Disney hotels, you also get free standard parking at the theme parks.
If you have a
reservation at one of the other hotels' experiences, you'll get free parking privileges, too. In that case, you will usually have a time limit of a couple of hours to dine, shop, etc. But there could be times when a hotel's security guard will only allow that particular hotel's guests through for parking.
