Welcome to planDisney, Kyle!
I'll admit, I'm a little jealous that you'll be escaping for some fun in the sun at Walt Disney World Resort. Spring has definitely not sprung for us here in Illinois yet!
I'm sorry to hear you are having trouble with your My Disney Experience accounts. It sounds like you may need to adjust your sharing settings in
Family & Friends. In the
My Disney Experience mobile app, use the menu in the lower right corner of the home screen, scroll to "My Profile", and then select "Family & Friends List" at the top. Scroll to the bottom of the page and select "Yes, share my Family & Friends list". To do this on the
My Disney Experience website, use the My Disney Experience drop-down menu on the top right to select "My Family & Friends". Next to your name, there should be a notation indicating if your list is shared or private. If you need to adjust the setting, select the blue "Update" link on the right.
Now your wife should be able to scroll to the bottom of her Family & Friends list and select "Add a Guest" and "Find through my connected Guests". If your son is not listed, it may be time to
give the My Disney Experience tech team a call at (407) 939-4357. A friendly Cast Member will be able to look up your account and help you sort everything out. I know phone hold times have been long lately, so I suggest trying to call first thing in the morning when the phone lines open at 7:00 am ET. You might also try the chat feature at the top of the
Help Center page.
Kyle, I hope you are able to get your account resolved and are soon on your way to enjoying all the magic of the
50th Anniversary celebration. Please let us know if you have any additional questions. Enjoy your visit!
