Can guests leave and re-enter the park with the SoCal resident tickets or are they more restricted than regular priced tickets?

    Hey Sara!

    Welcome to planDisney!

It looks like the secret is out! The SoCal Resident Ticket is back and from now until May 25, 2023 Southern California residents who reside in ZIP codes 90000- 93599 and Northern Baja California residents within ZIP codes 21000-22999 can purchase a 3-Day Ticket at a special price. It’s one of my favorite perks of living in Southern California. Guests who would like to purchase and use a SoCal Resident Ticket must provide proof of residency with a valid government-issued photo ID or Driver's License.

Although the SoCal Resident Ticket offer is restricted to just weekdays, there aren’t many other differences from a regular-priced ticket. You are free to leave Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park and re-enter throughout the day. The only way you would not be able to reenter the theme parks is if they were at capacity which typically only happens around the holidays. With the current reservation system in place, this has mostly made that an issue of the past so I wouldn’t worry about that during your visit. When you exit one of the theme parks, I recommend taking the time to explore the Downtown Disney District for some shopping or dining! Buy something to spark up some Magic in your home at the Disney Home store or grab one of the unique churro options from the California Churro Company!

Well Sara, I hope you found this information useful. If anything else comes up just let us know.

Remember, always believe in the Magic!
