Hiya Christy - welcome back to
planDisney!
The
Disability Access Service (DAS) is offered to accommodate Guests who may have difficulty using the standard queues at some attractions and experiences at Walt Disney World Resort Theme Parks. When a Guest is registered with DAS, they are able to select attractions they want to experience and will be provided a return time, usually in line with the current wait time for the standard queue. At that return time, the DAS Guest can return to the attraction and enter via the Lightning Lane entrance to experience the attraction. The great part about DAS is that the Guest can wait for their return time wherever they are most comfortable and accommodated, rather than standing in the standard queue.
When registering for DAS, you will be able to indicate which other Guests you will be visiting the Theme Parks with. The DAS Guest can then include
up to five of these other Guests on each return time selection. One nice feature is that the same five other Guests don't have to be included in each return time selection - if your party is larger, you can select different Guests for different attractions so everyone has an opportunity to enjoy an attraction alongside their DAS-registered friend! One important thing to remember is that these additional Guests are
accompanying the DAS-registered Guest and thus return times are only valid if used by or with a DAS-registered Guest (i.e., no one else can use return times without the DAS-registered Guest).
I hope this information is helpful as you plan your upcoming
holiday vacation. Be sure to check out
