Can guests currently visit Disney Hotels without reservations? We want to visit Wilderness Lodge in May when we visit and try their counter service restaurant. Thanks Steven

    Hi Steven!

I'm glad to hear that you are planning on visiting Disney's Wilderness Lodge during your upcoming vacation! I think it's one of the most beautiful and relaxing hotels at Walt Disney World Resort. Located right on Bay Lake, this hotel offers amazing views, tasty dining options, convenient water transportation and a beautiful main lobby. Be sure to stop and see the Grand Fireplace in the main lobby as it has been created to mimic the different layers of rock in the Grand Canyon.

Guests are welcome to visit Disney Resorts Collection hotels, even if they are not staying at that hotel, to enjoy the hotel's dining experiences, shopping, and select recreation activities. This means that you can include a visit to Disney's Wilderness Lodge to enjoy Roaring Fork in your vacation itinerary. Keep in mind that hotel pools are limited to Guests who are staying in that resort, but that won't stop you from enjoying the rest of Disney's Wilderness Lodge!

While you are visiting, I recommend that you make a stop at the Wilderness Lodge Mercantile. In my experience, this shop has an awesome selection of unique merchandise that I haven't been able to find at other places at Walt Disney World Resort. It's a great spot to find some rustic souvenirs!

Feel free to come back to see us at planDisney if you have additional questions! T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
