Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort offers my all-time favorite craft experience, so let's talk about Crockett's Craft Corner. Yee-haw!
A few years ago, my husband and I bought the world's greatest Disney souvenir: an original Fort Wilderness cabin! When the new
Disney Vacation Club cabins replaced the log-style units, we bought one. I still can't believe it! I decided that the perfect accessory would be a wooden sign with the Fort Wilderness logo, so I booked a spot at Crockett's Craft Corner and created my masterpiece featuring Chip 'N' Dale.
But I understand that not every Disney fan wants a keepsake featuring a specific resort, and I have good news for you. While specific designs vary by season and are subject to availability, there are typically dozens to choose from. I saw stencils with general messages like "Welcome" and "Home" adorned with classic characters and iconic images such as Cinderella Castle or Mickey's silhouette. I feel certain you'll find one that tickles your fancy!
A bonus surprise was the fabulous snack spread included in the price. And while you can make only one sign per paid guest, you can bring a pal to help! My friend
Tania joined me, and we both enjoyed fruit, cheese, crackers, and beverages. She even
filmed a fun video of me making my sign!
