Hi Margaret!
Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
This is a great question and I'm so glad you asked prior to carrying a chair to
Magic Kingdom park. Per the
Walt Disney World Resort Property Rules, "Folding chairs are not allowed in any theme park, water park or Disney Springs."
However, if you feel like you want to sit down during
Happily Ever After, I have some ideas for you.
My family and I have enjoyed Happily Ever After from locations throughout Magic Kingdom park. One of our favorite times was when we flew high on our favorite elephant,
Dumbo the Flying Elephant. It was nothing less than magical!
There are also several benches throughout Magic Kingdom park where you can sit and enjoy the fireworks.
Depending on where you decide to sit, you may miss the state-of-the art projection technology on
Cinderella Castle that becomes part of Happily Ever After. There are a few tables at the end of Main Street, U.S.A. They are first come, first served and typically fill up quickly.
Another option you might consider if you are wanting to have access to chairs is to make a reservation for the
Fireworks Dessert Party at Tomorrowland Terrace. You will enjoy delectable desserts from the comfort of the terrace seating area. It's wonderful!
I hope this gives you some options as you think about your evening at Magic Kingdom park. Please let me know if you need any other information as you plan your magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation.
