Boo to you, James.
Welcome, foolish mortal, to planDisney! I’m so glad you dropped by for a spell to chat about your upcoming trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth.
I bet you can’t wait to experience the frightfully-fun festivities at
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party this fall. I mean, what could be more fun than trick-or-treating around Magic Kingdom Park, enjoying a wickedly delightful
stage show and
fireworks spectacular, and experiencing lower wait times for popular attractions? And if that’s not enough, you also have the spooktacular
Mickey's "Boo-to-You" Halloween Parade to look forward to! Pro tip: Watch the last performance of the parade, because it’s typically less crowded than the earlier performances.
Unfortunately, you must have both valid theme park admission and a
Disney Park Pass reservation in order to purchase and utilize
Disney Genie+ service on any given day. This means you would have to purchase a theme park ticket for Magic Kingdom Park to be able to make
Disney Genie+ Lightning Lane selections from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. on the day of your event ticket. I know that’s not what you were hoping to hear, but the good news is the attraction wait times are significantly lower during Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party than they are during normal park operating hours. You should be able to pack in a few top-notch attractions in between stops at the trick-or-treat stations.
James, there’s no bones about it, you will have the time of your afterlife celebrating Halloween at Walt Disney World Resort! If more questions creep into your head before then, please stop by planDisney again. We are more than happy to dig up another answer for you.
Hurry back,
Alyssa
