    Are guests still able to purchase tickets at the gate?

    Hi Tim! Welcome to planDisney! Thanks so much for stopping by and asking us this question. I'm glad you found us!

    When considering visiting The Happiest Place on Earth, it requires some planning in advance. Because you must have a Theme Park Reservation to enter Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park, purchasing your Theme Park Ticket on the Disneyland website or through the Disneyland Mobile App in advance is strongly recommended. If you choose to arrive at a ticket booth outside of the theme park entrances, unfortunately, there is no guarantee that you would be able to enter a theme park that day. I suggest looking at the Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar to choose a date with reservations available for the theme park you'd like to visit.
