Hiya, Brenda, and thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
Yes, a Guest can certainly bring an umbrella to the
Disneyland Resort, whether it’s a protective measure from the sun or rain. I recommend bringing a small, compact umbrella that can fit into a backpack or purse, to make it easier to carry throughout the day. Or, you can always store it in a
rental locker, which can be found inside both theme parks, or on The Esplanade between the parks. Umbrellas are also available for purchase at various locations throughout the Resort. On rainy days, umbrellas will be placed toward the entrance of many shops to make it easier for Guests to find them quickly. If you have any other questions on what items are allowed into the Resort, you can check the
Disneyland Resort Rules here.
Have you made
dining reservations for your upcoming visit to the Happiest Place on Earth? If not, you can start making them up to 60 days prior to your vacation. You can make reservations
online, on the
Disneyland app, or by calling (714) 781-DINE (3463).
Speaking of the Disneyland app, I recommend downloading it prior to your arrival. This app is the perfect handy helper inside the theme parks! My family and I enjoy using it to check attraction wait times, find favorite Characters, and even mobile order food.
Wishing you magical adventures on your Disneyland Resort visit, through rain or shine, Brenda!
