Me and my guest (4 total) are going to Disney world in October. Full day park ticket to Epcot. Full day park ticket to animal kingdom. Event ticket for the not so scary Halloween party. Do we need to make reservations for the parks?

Boo to you, Angie! Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question today! It sounds like you're planning to get into the spirit of spooky season at the Most Magical Place on Earth, and I'm sure you're going to find more treats than tricks when you arrive!

Angie, currently most date-based tickets do not require Guests to make theme park reservations. Since I'm not sure if your tickets were purchased separately or as part of a vacation package, or which type of tickets you have, the best advice I can offer is to log into your My Disney Experience mobile app to verify. To do this, click the three horizontal lines at the bottom right-hand side of the app and select Park Reservations. Next, click on Make or Modify Theme Park Reservations and you will be directed to the Theme Park Reservation website. When you click Make a Park Reservation, your tickets will populate and you will be able to see if they require a reservation. If your ticket does not require a reservation, you will see a message that says no reservations are required.

For Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, this special event ticket is already linked to your specific date of attendance, and therefore no additional reservation is required! With this ticket, you will be eligible to enter Magic Kingdom Park starting at 4 PM and the party festivities will begin at 7 PM! This is one of my favorite special events because it offers unique opportunities like characters dressed up for Halloween, trick or treating in the park, and some seriously spooky ride overlays like Space Mountain in absolute darkness! Check it out - if you dare! You'll also want to save room for some spooky snacks while you're at the party - the Disney Parks Blog recently released the Halloween Foodie Guide for this event, and it looks devilishly delicious!

Angie, I hope this helps and I hope you have an amazing time visiting EPCOT and Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park as well as seeing Magic Kingdom Park dressed up for Halloween! If you have any additional planning questions before you arrive, come on back to planDisney and let us know! We're always happy to help happy haunt like you find the magic!

    Stay Spooky,
    Alison
