Hey howdy hey, Teresa! Welcome to planDisney! I’m so happy you stopped by to ask about Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground. Let’s grab a seat by the campfire and chat about your question.
Day guests are typically allowed at Fort Wilderness, but you’ll want to consider a few policies to prepare for your guests' arrival. They will need to check in with security at the front gate, so to help make that an easy process, I recommend adding them to your reservation as day guests. You can do this at the check-in desk when you arrive at the campground. Then when your guests arrive, they will provide your name and campsite number and show their ID.
Day visitors are asked to park in the main lot at the front of the resort. From there, they can either use the internal bus system or you can pick them up if you have a golf cart. Day guests are also not permitted to use the campground’s pools, as those are for registered overnight guests. There are still plenty of activities to enjoy like
