Do the guest rooms in the Contemporary Resort have Ethernet ports?

    Hi Leigh,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thank you for your question. You are going to love staying at Disney’s Contemporary Resort – between the monorail actually running through your hotel (I’m like a kid on Christmas morning every time!) and the walk to Magic Kingdom Park, you’re staying as close to the magic as you can get!

I checked with a Cast Member, who told me that there are no ethernet ports in Walt Disney World Resort’s Guest rooms or business centers. You will find Wireless Internet Access throughout the resort, from Guest Rooms to the theme parks. In my experience, the wi-fi in the parks is good; we often bring our tablets with us and our kids are able to stream movies in our room when we’re taking a break, and I have been able to get work done on my laptop while sitting by the pool.

Leigh, if you have a special circumstance requiring a hard-wired connection, I recommend calling the resort at (407) 824-1000 and explaining that you will be checking in soon and have these particular needs. The resort concierge or Cast Members may have some possibilities for you.

Enjoy every minute of your stay at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. Be sure to stop at Contempo Café for a delicious treat – they always have the cutest themed cupcakes!

    Wishing you a magical vacation,
    Robyn
