Do ♿ guest have to purchase tickets?

Hi there, Alice, and welcome to planDisney! I couldn’t be happier that you’re here today with this great question. My Panelist pals and I are here and always thrilled to help our fellow Guests, just like you! It sounds like you're considering a visit to Walt Disney World Resort, and you must be getting so excited!

Alice, let me start by reassuring you that Walt Disney World Resort does an amazing job of making everyone feel included and immersed in the magic, and that especially means Guests who have different needs, even when it comes to mobility. All Guests ages three and up do need to purchase a Disney Theme Park ticket to enter the parks. Happily, there is so much to do, see, and taste in each theme park!

You might find that many attractions can accommodate your specific needs - just chat with a Cast Member at the beginning of the queue to get the scoop on what to expect when you're getting on and off the attraction. There are certain attractions that can accommodate wheelchairs, and some that require a transfer. And, if you decide that you'd rather not visit any attractions, you'll have an absolute blast exploring the parks, attending shows, trying amazing food and drinks, taking in all of the beautiful scenery, and more.

Alice, if you're a Florida Resident, you might be eligible for some significant savings on your tickets! Check out the available Special Offers on the Walt Disney World Resort website for the latest details, and to ensure you qualify for them. You can even verify your Florida Residency online ahead of your visit, to save you time on the day you want to head to the parks.

You might like to know that there are accessible rooms within the Disney Resorts Collection hotels, and each form of complimentary Disney transportation can accommodate wheelchairs. Buses, boats, the Disney Skyliner, and Disney Monorail are each accessible and will put your safety as their top priority. There is also Disability Parking available, as well as wheelchair and ECV rentals.

I hope this is helpful as you consider a visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth! Please stop back by planDisney with any other questions you have as you plan your vacation!

    See you real soon!
