Hi there, Tina! Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney.
I know it can be hard to find
dining reservations in advance, especially during the busy seasons at
Disneyland Resort. I have a few suggestions for you:
~ Most restaurants offer a walk-up list. Ask the host stand upon arrival. At more popular venues like
Blue Bayou Restaurant, I recommend visiting the host stand earlier in the day like 11:00 a.m. and you might be able to get a reservation within the next few hours. This has worked out for me twice in recent times!
~ Some restaurants offer a
Mobile Dine Walk-up List – check out the list
here. Once you are near the restaurant, search for it in the
Disneyland mobile app and you should see an option to add yourself to this list. If it says the list is full, try again in a couple of hours, as availability can change quickly.
~ For a party of six, you could try two smaller reservations, like four and two or three and three. Once you arrive at the restaurant, you can ask the host stand to try and seat you close together. They will do their best to accommodate.
~ There are some restaurants in the
Downtown Disney District that have large seating areas so you might have better luck accommodating your group there.
Tortilla Jo’s and
Naples Ristorante e Bar are two of my favorites.
Wishing you the best of luck, Tina. Sending you a pinch of pixie dust!
