Hello there Patricia, from a fellow Arizonan! Welcome to planDisney and thanks so much for your question.
You are correct! To visit either of the parks of the Disneyland Resort, you need both
theme park tickets and
theme park reservations for each day of your visit.
Did you purchase your tickets through the
Disneyland Resort website? If so, then I've found the easiest way to make theme park reservations (and really handle all the details of your visit) is through the
My Plans page, which you can find under the "My Disneyland" menu item on the website.
In here, you'll see each day of your upcoming visit, and be able to make your reservations either from the top section or for the specific day of your visit in the list below.
If you sign in to the My Plans section and don't see anything, then you might need to link your tickets to your account. You should be able to do that through this section as well, but as you mention you'll need that ticket ID. My recommendation would be to search your email for "Disneyland Confirmation," and it should pull it up. If you're still having trouble finding it then at this point I'd suggest
contacting a Cast Member at the Tickets line for additional help.
Once you have those tickets linked, you'll be able to make those theme park tickets and you'll be ready for your upcoming adventure at the Happiest Place on Earth!
Thank you again for your question, Patricia, and I hope you have a fantastic visit to the Disneyland Resort.
Have a Magical Day,
Greg
