Hi James,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you for your question! Your trip is in just a few weeks, has the excitement kicked in yet?
When it comes to the
My Disney Experience mobile app, only one guest in the party needs to be signed into the app. Some guests like sharing their plans in the app with other family members if they will be doing separate activities during the trip, but multiple apps aren’t needed for guests traveling together (no matter the age).
James, you will however want to make sure that all your party’s tickets are linked within your My Disney Experience mobile app (or the app of the person in charge). Once the tickets are linked, that individual can make the
Disney Park Pass reservations, link
MagicBands (if needed), and purchase
Disney Genie+ Service. When my family vacations, I’m usually the one using the app for our entire party, it just makes it easier for us!
If some members of your party decide to use their own My Disney Experience mobile app, Hakuna Matata! Just make sure that those guests are on your “Family & Friends List” (under “My Account”). Once they are, you’ll want to share your plans with them by clicking on their name and selecting “Send Email”. Once the request is accepted, your apps will be in sync!
I hope this “Bit By Bryanna” is helpful as you prepare for your Walt Disney World Resort vacation next month. If you have any other planning or vacation questions,
please feel free to reach out, I’m always happy to help!
The Magic Is Calling,
Bryanna
