Hello! We have a guest on our hotel res that can’t do the same park days (we are going Sat-Tues, she is joining Sun/Mon). Will I be able to book LLSP/MP for all guests or will she need to book separately so we don’t pay for the days she isn’t attending?

Hey there! Hi there, Danielle! I am so happy to welcome you to planDisney and help share just how easy it will be to arrange Lightning Lane passes for your group.

It sounds like you have quite an adventure on the horizon! And I love that even though not everyone can join the whole time, family and friends are not missing out on the magic.

If your hotel reservation is within the Disney Resorts Collection or another qualified hotel and everyone going to the theme parks is listed on the reservation, you will all be eligible to purchase Lightning Lane passes seven days before the check-in date for each day in your stay. If you are staying somewhere else, you will be eligible three days before the first day of your theme park ticket.

Here’s the good news for you: you purchase Lightning Lane passes per day. On your first day of eligibility, open the My Disney Experience app and select the Lightning Lane tile on the home screen. You will start by choosing the date, theme park and eligible Guests you would like to include in your purchase for that day. You do not have to include everyone. After selecting your Single Pass or three experiences and arrival windows for a Multi Pass, follow the prompts to complete your purchase. You will be given the option to plan another day. You can include her just those days when you plan for Sunday and Monday. I think this flexibility is amazing because you can still plan together, even when your days do not align completely.

You are headed to the Most Magical Place on Earth during the most wonderful time of the year. Have you seen the Disney Parks Blog post: Your Ultimate Holiday Guide for Everything Walt Disney World? This guide highlights all the seasonal celebrations coming to Walt Disney World in time for your visit. I'd also keep an eye on this site as they typically release Foodie Guides that will have your sweet and savory side dreaming!

If there is anything else we can do to help you plan your trip, you know you have a friend in planDisney.

    Happy Holidays!
