I have a guest who will be entering the park after me. how can she verify she have a park reservation if it’s under my Disney account also? Is it possible to only drop at guest off to animal kingdom without paying the parking fee? I’ll be leaving after

    Jambo Denise!

Thank you for sending us this magical question, and welcome to planDisney, the most magical place on the internet. Oh my goodness, Denise, your vacation has finally arrived! How excited are you to be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort today? I know I would be thrilled, especially since you will be visiting my all-time favourite park: Disney's Animal Kingdom.

There are two ways your guest can enter the theme parks without you! They can either use a MagicBand and link it to their My Disney Experience profile or use the Disney MagicMobile service if they have an iPhone, Apple Watch or Google Pay-enabled Android smartphone. All you have to do is make sure that the theme park ticket and park reservation are linked to their My Disney Experience profile and that they have access to it. Otherwise, if you both have iPhones, you can also download their Disney MagicMobile ticket yourself and share it with them through iMessage. All you would have to do is make sure you have the My Disney Experience mobile app on your or your guest's phone. Then, log into your account and click on the three lines at the bottom right of your screen. You should then be able to click on Disney MagicMobile and download the theme park ticket you need.

As for your second question, you can absolutely drop off your guest at Disney's Animal Kingdom's entrance without having to pay for parking! In fact, this can be done at all four theme parks. At Disney's Animal Kingdom, all you will have to do is keep right when driving into the parking lot. There is usually a Cast Member at this intersection at each theme park, so you can ask them for further directions. Magic Kingdom Park's guest drop-off is located at the Transportation and Ticket Center, but don't hesitate to ask the parking Cast Members if you need any help!

Once you have done like Marlin and left your guest at the drop-off, here are some of my recommendations for them to have a wild day! First, my favourite attractions are the Kilimanjaro Safaris over in Africa and Dinosaur located in Dinoland. If your guest is looking for something more relaxing (and for some nice AC on a hot Florida day), I highly recommend watching A Celebration of the Festival of the Lion King, also located in Africa. This show is one of my must-dos every time I go to Disney's Animal Kingdom, and I cannot recommend it enough! Another great way to cool down in the AC is by taking the train over to Rafiki's Planet Watch and going to one of the Animation Experience drawing classes. These classes are for everyone willing to try, and you get to bring back your beautiful drawing as a souvenir at the end!

I hope this was helpful, Denise, and that you and your Ohana will have the best day ever on your Disney vacation! If you have any other questions during your trip or need help planning the next one, please don't hesitate to reach out. We are always happy to help fellow Wilderness Explorers!
