If a guest at the disneyland hotel, can I reserve dining reservations at 60 days before PLUS the days I'm staying at the hotel similar to Walt Disney World's 60 day plus 10?

    Hi Brandi!

Welcome to planDisney! Thank you so much for sending this Disneyland Resort vacation planning question to us hEAR!

You sound like a cross-country Mouseketeer just like myself. I started my planDisney journey as a Walt Disney World Resort specialist, but then my family moved to the West Coast and I fell in love with Walt's original theme park. While there are a lot of similarities between World and Land, at the current time, Disneyland Dining Reservations are only able to be booked once each Disney day is 60 days out no matter where you're staying. The unconfirmed rumor why this might be different than when booking a vacation at Mickey's Florida house is that there are fewer locations that accept reservations at Disneyland Resort, as well as more off-property hotels. Sadly this does mean that you'll need to make reservations over multiple mornings, but it will all be worth it when you're in the parks. Remember that dining reservations open at 6:00 AM PST and currently the only way to book is on the desktop version of the Disneyland website as well as the Disneyland Mobile App.

A pro tip is that even if you didn't find a table available or a timeslot that works well on your booking days, keep trying! Other Guests change their plans all the time. And since most reservation locations only charge a per-person cancelation fee to back out within 24 hours of the meal, you'll have plenty of time to look for the one that got away. Another neat new feature is Mobile Dine Walk-Up Wait List, where you can inquire about getting a same-day reservation without actually being at that dining location. This way you can see if there's anything available from halfway across the park! You'll want to check this option early in the day and often as there are only so many spots held back and they do go fast.

I hope that this helped to better plan your upcoming Disney days, Brandi! Be sure to follow the planDisney Instagram account for even more tips and tricks.
