Can a Guest with Disabilities Assistance card be used at Smuggler's Run in HS?

Bright suns, Ami!  Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel on your way to the planet Batuu.

The Force is strong with my family!  Although I have been lucky enough to visit Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge a few times since it opened, my young padawans' first visit to Batuu is coming up next month.  My son has autism, so we use Disability Access Service (DAS) at the Walt Disney World theme parks.  Disability Access Service is intended for guests whose disability prevents them from waiting in a traditional queue environment.  In preparation for our upcoming trip, I have looked into how Disability Access Service is used in Black Spire Outpost, and I would be happy to pass that information on to you.

Although FastPass+ is not yet offered at Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run, Disability Access Service operates here just as it does at other attractions.  When you want to take the fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy for a spin, a Cast Member at the attraction entrance can issue you a Disability Access Service return time.  Your return time will be based on the current standby wait for the attraction.  You may return any time after that given time and bypass the standby queue to access the attraction.

Please be aware that Disability Access Service is currently functioning a bit differently at Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance.  Due to the popularity of this brand-new attraction, a virtual queue system using boarding groups is in place at this time.  To experience Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, you must join a boarding group.  This includes guests using Disability Access Service.

To join a boarding group, all members of your party wishing to ride must be inside Disney's Hollywood Studios when the park opens.  As soon as the park opens, you may use your My Disney Experience mobile app to request a boarding group.  You will be notified via the app when it is your boarding group's turn to experience the attraction.  At that point, you have a two-hour window in which to arrive at Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance.  Guests using Disability Access Service will speak to a Cast Member at the attraction entrance once their boarding group is called and they will be permitted to bypass the queue.

Please keep in mind that procedures for access Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance are subject to change, so be sure to follow the Disney Parks Blog for all of the latest news.
