Thank you for bringing your planning question to planDisney! We are thrilled you've stopped by. Disney dining is one of my very favorite topics. With all that exploring, you're bound to work-up quite an appetite and there are SO many incredible options.
Fortunately, there is not a penalty if someone is not able to make it to your
Disney Dining Reservation. Disney does however
charge a cancellation fee if the whole reservation is cancelled after the designated window or if
no one shows up.
While we're talking about dining, I want to make sure that you're aware of
Mobile Food and Beverage Ordering once you're visiting. There are several participating locations throughout Walt Disney World Resort and it makes it so easy to pre-order, pay and pick up your food when you're ready! My favorite is to order the Chili-Spiced Crispy Fried Tofu Bowl and a Pandoran Sunrise from
Satu'li Canteen. We schedule to pick it up after our amazing experience on
Avatar Flight of Passage. Once ready, we let them know to go ahead and start our order in the My Disney Experience App, then we spend a few minutes marveling the floating mountains or shopping for a new banshee friend in
Windtraders. Once it's ready, we are notified through the app or with a message to our phone and we head to the designated Mobile Order line to pick it up.
